What’s In My Bag?

I’ve always loved the piece in Us Weekly where they have a celeb show what they carry in their purse…even though the writers probably just put it together at the Us Weekly office… but hey, catches my attention! Anyway, I came to the conclusion that I should show my viewers what I carry with me. Here is (truthfully) what’s in my bag –

  1. Micheal Kors Wristlet Wallet – I love this wallet because it has many compartments, it zips, and if I need to run a quick errand I can take only that because of the wristlet option
  2. Advil (Travel Size) – When I found this at Target I was thrilled because I could finally keep my pills in something other than a dingy plastic bag
  3. Purell (Travel Size) – Being a neat freak has it positives when they create mini’s that you can take absolutely everywhere you go
  4. Daisy by Marc Jacobs – I normally carry a few fragrances in my bag incase I spend the night at my boyfriends or need a quick refresher throughout the day (sensing a trend? I normally buy everything that’s mini because they’re adorable)
  5. Aveda Lip Saver – By far the best chapstick I have ever come in contact with. I just hope I don’t lose this one…
  6. iPad Mini – Speaks for itself
  7. J.R Watkins Hand Creme – Absolutely love J.R Watkins products. This Aloe and Green Tea hand cream deeply moisturizes my hands and the smell takes me to the spa where I have no worries and cucumber slices on my eyes
  8. Neutrogena SkinClearing Mineral Powder – This powder is a saint when I’m feeling a little shiny. Also, you don’t have to worry about clogging your pores because it’s made with the SkinClearing ingredients
  9. Tory Burch Perfume – I smelt this fragrance in a magazine while at work and ended up rubbing the magazine all over my body because it smelt so magical. I headed to Sephora and asked them for a sample of this perfume and now I keep it in my purse for when I need a little spritz
  10. Lipstick Queen Saint Bright Rose – If you know me, you know that I don’t wear lipstick often but this color is so beautiful I had to buy it. It has a 10% pigment to it, which creates more of sheer look with a tint of color. I also adore Lipstick Queen’s brand, it lasts all day and goes on smoothly
  11. Ray-Ban Aviators – I love my blue gradient Ray-Ban’s because they add an extra something to the basic aviator
  12. Mento’s Pure Fresh Mint Gum – By far the best gum I’ve put in my mouth, so juicy and the taste truly lasts
  13. Rosebud Salve – This versatile treatment is great for lips, cuticles, hands, and elbows when you’re feeling dry and crusty crust
  14. Revlon Nail File – My nails do this great thing of breaking all the time so having this on hand is a necessisty
  15. Lipstick Queen Bare Nude Sinner – Everyone needs to have a nude lipstick and this is by far the best one I’ve found. It has a 90% pigment to it which creates more of a matte finish, it is also super hydrating so no need to worry about flakey looking lips because that’s not flattering
  16. Aveda Hand Relief – Mentioned in my previous blog post – this cream has saved my hands during the nasty winters. Since it is expensive I recommend trying the travel size first to see if you enjoy it as much as I do

If any of you are curious my bag is the Shelby Satchel from J.Crew. This bag is the love of my life and I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a durable, spacious, and stylist purse. So now you know what I carry with me. I attached a link where you can purchase each item and if you have any questions leave a comment below and I will be glad to help you – with love | Madelyn
