Date Night – Restaurants – Part Dos

You asked so I delivered – here is a list of our recent date night excursions! Don’t worry, Alex and I are huge foodies so these will continue to show up on my blog. I, thankfully, continue to fill up my cute little book but we tend to hop into a routine of going to only a few places. We are getting better at branching out…sometimes. Enjoy!

Kona Grill – Eden Prairie, Minnesota

My Meal
– Wave Roll and Atlantic Roll

His Meal – Chicken Satay and Sliders

I’ve had a few bad experiences at Kona which, has made me develop a love/hate relationship. I say that because their service can be an extreme hit or miss. Sometimes the servers are super sweet and very present during your meal and other times they are the complete opposite. Besides that, their HH prices are the absolute best. I recommend if you’re in the mood for decent $2 dollar sushi rolls during their every day HH. That’s right, $2 dollars.

Bar Louie – Uptown Minneapolis

My Meal – Southwest Burger

His Meal – Fried Louie Burger

Every Tuesday from 5pm – close, Bar Louie has $5 dollar burgers on essentially all the ones they offer. They are normally $10-12 dollars a pop so this is an absolute steal. Being extreme burger fans, we were very impressed with our choices and we will definitely go back to try the others!

The Loop – West End, St. Louis Park, Minnesota

My Meal –
Veggie Omelet

His Meal – Breakfast Burrito with Side of Bacon

We were more than impressed with how delicious this food tasted. Alex and I are big breakfast people so it can be hard to wow us but man, we were ~~wowed~~ As you can see, the burrito comes with a lot of food, so I only recommend if you’re either sharing, or like Alex who can eat a small cow and still be hungry. The Loop has an adorable outdoor patio where we enjoyed our meal, so hurry before it gets too cold to utilize that! (They serve more than just brunch and it all sounded tasty)

Burger Jones – Uptown, Minneapolis

My Meal
– Santa Fe Burger (with normal burger instead of chorizo burger)

His Meal – Hangover Burger (with normal bun and added avocado)

Like I said, extreme burger fans. I was very happy with my decision on choosing a normal patty over a chorizo patty because my burger was delicious. Alex was very happy with his choice on subbing a true bun over an english muffin and adding avocado. They also have a nice patio where pups are allowed!! Definitely recommend for a good burger and large list of beer.

Agra Culture – Edina and Minneapolis, Minnesota

My Meal
– Agra Plate: Chilled Seared Tuna with Broccolini and Quinoa Salad

His Meal – Agra Plate: Chicken with Agra Hash

Writing about this meal is making my mouth water…because it was that good. Agra Culture is a wonderful (expensive) all organic joint with delicious, healthy choices. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner and I recommend all. I love their Agra Plate option where you can choose your protein and sides, which is what Alex and I did. Must go!

Now I’m hungry. Overall, I recommend each and every place. Just depends on what mood you’re in. Stay tuned for an update in a few months ❤
